I actually had him for 311, but it wasn't an option on here.
Cons: Pretentious
Josh is a great accounting teacher. He applies material to meaningful, real-world examples, and helps students prepare for exams by going over old test questions. I'd recommend him to a friend.
Cons: Boring class
Josh is a pretty cool guy, he's just not a great teacher. Goes really fast and doesn't prepare you well for the test. Every single test he would be like okay guys this test is really easy and you guys should capitalize on this one to raise your grade.. and they were all about the same. Don't really need to go to this class all the time.
stuck to the textbook
homework was SO helpful
told you exactly what was on tests
the homework and learnsmart increase your grade a lot
always available to meet
Cons: he gets side tracked
sometimes hard to follow
Josh is probably one of the best teachers I have had at CSU. He is extremely fair and genuinely cares about his students and the grades they receive. The tests aren't too bad if you study and understand the material. And while the learnsmarts and homework are a pain to do they are very helpful and he ends up dropping two of each. Plus, they increase your grade a whole lot. The homework& learnsmart combined make up 150 pts of the 600 point class! Overall very cool guy and he is definitely the best act 205 teacher!
- Goes through problems step by step
- Funny, easy going, and easy to listen to
Cons: - Sometimes moves very quickly, but just tell him that you need him to slow down.
Josh is an amazing teacher! I learned a lot about accounting while I was in his class and found accounting to be a fun challenge. The class is difficult but as long as you are willing to do the work it should be no problem to get a B in the class.
Cons: He teaches at a very fast pace. However, he does make sure to have office hours available to everyone having trouble with the material.
Good class, awesome teacher, nice guy!
Cons: He probably has ADHD cause he can go off on random tangents, but the tangents are usually hilarious.
I would recommend this teacher as he makes a bring subject pretty fun
Cons: He is all over the place (ADHD I believe) and can be hard to follow when he goes on tangents but it is very entertaining. He kind of reminds me of Dane Cook. There is a lot of homework but its an accounting class so what can you expect. The tests are moderately hard but as long as you do your homework and read the book you will be fine.
Cons: Has ADHD.
Always wants to make sure that students understand the material
Cons: Unprepared
