I actually had him for 311, but it wasn't an option on here.

Pros: He relates material to real-world examples, provides class with "life lessons", makes material applicable, goes over past test questions to prepare for exam
Cons: Pretentious
Josh is a great accounting teacher. He applies material to meaningful, real-world examples, and helps students prepare for exams by going over old test questions. I'd recommend him to a friend.

Pros: Only had the class twice a week. Home works are easy.
Cons: Boring class
Josh is a pretty cool guy, he's just not a great teacher. Goes really fast and doesn't prepare you well for the test. Every single test he would be like okay guys this test is really easy and you guys should capitalize on this one to raise your grade.. and they were all about the same. Don't really need to go to this class all the time.

Homework is online and you can keep trying answers and checking if you got them right or not, so you can keep trying until you get 100% on the homework. He is super chill and actually wants the kids to succeed opposed to most teachers. You never HAVE to go to class, he doesn't have anything due during it, but I would advise it because he is dorky but funny and the class time really helps you understand it. Also, he is very approachable so if you need help, e-mail him and he will respond within a day or you can even go into his office, and he will never talk to you like you are less than him. He is awesome!

Pros: you can check your answers unlimited times on the homework
the homework and learnsmart increase your grade a lot
always available to meet
Cons: he gets side tracked
sometimes hard to follow
Josh is probably one of the best teachers I have had at CSU. He is extremely fair and genuinely cares about his students and the grades they receive. The tests aren't too bad if you study and understand the material. And while the learnsmarts and homework are a pain to do they are very helpful and he ends up dropping two of each. Plus, they increase your grade a whole lot. The homework& learnsmart combined make up 150 pts of the 600 point class! Overall very cool guy and he is definitely the best act 205 teacher!

Pros: - Hot, Very Attractive
- Goes through problems step by step
- Funny, easy going, and easy to listen to
Cons: - Sometimes moves very quickly, but just tell him that you need him to slow down.
Josh is an amazing teacher! I learned a lot about accounting while I was in his class and found accounting to be a fun challenge. The class is difficult but as long as you are willing to do the work it should be no problem to get a B in the class.

Pros: Homework is great because you can check your answers before you submit. He's a real funny guy and makes accounting fun to go to
Cons: He teaches at a very fast pace. However, he does make sure to have office hours available to everyone having trouble with the material.
Good class, awesome teacher, nice guy!

Josh was a great teacher, and made class fun to go to. Even though Accounting might not be the most exciting stuff to learn, he made it interesting by sharing personal experiences. It made you feel like you knew the guy even though you had never even gone into office hours. If you understand and know how to do the Connect homework, you should do well on the tests. Also study the class notes that he posts and understand the concepts. He was great this semester and offered a 20 point extra credit opportunity. Overall, this was a great class and it was actually one I enjoyed because of Mr. Neil.

Pros: He is an awesome guy, very funny and easy to pay attention to. He is very willing to help every student succeed in this class and is willing to meet with you outside of class. He is very forgiving on HW making sure you understand the material as opposed to worrying about grades on HW
Cons: He probably has ADHD cause he can go off on random tangents, but the tangents are usually hilarious.
I would recommend this teacher as he makes a bring subject pretty fun

Pros: He is very enthusiastic and really wants his students to succeed. He explains things well and offers great real life stories that tie in with class. He is very willing to help students outside of class. The homework is online and you can check your work so as long as you do it you will get 100%. The tests are multiple choice. Plus, he isn't bad to look at :)
Cons: He is all over the place (ADHD I believe) and can be hard to follow when he goes on tangents but it is very entertaining. He kind of reminds me of Dane Cook. There is a lot of homework but its an accounting class so what can you expect. The tests are moderately hard but as long as you do your homework and read the book you will be fine.
