Natural Headache Relief During Finals Week
I hate to say it but it’s that point in the semester folks; Finals Week. It’s that part in fall semester where you just had a tiny break at home with your family, but now you have to go back to school for about 3 weeks and stress out. And let’s be honest and admit that you didn’t get much done during that tiny break. You said you were going to do work but then you found your comfortable bed back at home along with a control next to it which gives you access to Netflix.
So you stumbled upon this article because you’re most probably procrastinating with your papers. But hey that’s alright. I know that this article will help you out in the long run. I’m here to talk to you about headaches.
So why am I specifically focusing on headaches? Well, headaches are something that I am prone to. I get headaches and migraines all the time, especially during stressful times like finals week.
Headaches are horrible to get during finals week. I know that when I get headaches, I literally can’t do any work. I don’t go to CVS to pick up Advil because I’m not a big fan of pain relievers like that. I prefer natural remedies and I’d like to share them with you so that you know what to do when you get a headache.
Tea
Tea is my number one lifesaver when it comes to headaches. There are many kinds of teas that you can drink when your head isn’t feeling well such as,chamomile and peppermint. I personally drink chamomile tea because it helps me fall asleep very easily.
Massage your Head
Sometimes a simple massage on your head can cure a headache. I just close my eyes and begin to rub the temples of my head. It relieves tension and it works really well!
Take a Nap or Go to Sleep
I know that you barely have time to sleep, especially since it’s finals week. But you must realize that lack of sleep does cause headaches. If you have a headache and you feel tired, then listen to what your body is telling you. Take a quick power or nap or allow your body to rest overnight. Sometimes, I just lie down for about 30 minutes and my headache will disappear. Just listen to what your body is trying to tell you. Your health is a top priority.
Drink Water
The human body needs about 8 glasses of water per day and let’s admit that you don’t drink that amount on a daily basis. I highly advise you to stay hydrated, especially during finals week. If you get a headache, it may be because you’re dehydrated. So always have a water bottle nearby.
With that being said, I hope you found this article helpful. I hope you follow some of my remedies and share with a friend who gets headaches easily. Good luck on finals!
